It’s a fierce world.

I started my career as a political lobbyist for my alma mater Eastern Michigan University. After catching the political bug I jumped into the deep end as a political fundraiser and campaign staffer for campaigns (statehouse, statewide and local offices) in Ohio and Michigan. Then in 2005 I was recruited to transition into non-profit fundraising, serving key fundraising roles with Mid-Ohio Foodbank and Columbus State Community College.

Throughout my career I’ve helped organizations raise millions of dollars through a myriad of strategies including: individual and corporate major gifts, capital campaigns, grassroots house parties, corporate and workplace giving, online as well as through community and match campaigns. I’ve hit goals out of the park, I’ve come up short and I’ve made plans and adjusted- over and over again. I’ve traveled the state, spending time in boardrooms and union halls, backyard barbeques, and community rooms sharing good ideas and telling the story of great campaigns and fantastic organizations.
